• First Aid program participants learn to recognize the signs and symptoms of injuries and sudden illness. Crucial information about how to deal with emergencies like bleeding, shock, burns, strains, fractures, allergic reaction, diabetic and seizures is shared. 

• Standard First Aid, CPR and AED includes in-depth coverage of First Aid, CPR (Adult, Child, Infant) and AED in one comprehensive program. The course is the "standard" by which other emergency care training programs are judged.   

• Bloodborne Pathogens Training includes information that will help students understand what bloodborne pathogens are and how risks of exposure can be reduced for themselves and others. The program assists in satisfying the training requirements of the U.S. Department of Labor, OSHA Bloodborne Pathogens Standard.

• Emergency Oxygen administration is a critical step in treating a severe or life-threatening illness or injury. Serious and life-threatening medical emergencies often cause oxygen to be depleted in the body leaving the victim at risk for cardiac arrest or brain damage. This program focuses on administering emergency oxygen, rescue breathing and oxygen delivery devices.

Online Training Options

DeRosa Aquatic Consulting is happy to bring you a blended training option through programs developed and approved by the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons and the American College of Emergency Physicians.  For those persons who want information rather than certification, the online course is a viable option.  However, because motor-learning requires hands-on skills practice and coaching, we strongly recommend that all persons follow-up with the instructor-led skills evaluation.  These courses combines a unique blend of online self-study followed by an instructor-led training and competency assessment that provides a practical means of obtaining certification in CPR and AED.

Prices listed are for Part 1: Online Knowledge/Didactic Assessment.  Those seeking certification will need to also register for Part 2: Skills Assessment/Practical Exam.  Additional fees will apply.

BLAST! Babysitter Training Online	BLAST!
