Shawn DeRosa is a highly trained aquatic safety specialist who is constantly gaining new knowledge in the ever-changing field of aquatic risk management. Shawn, who is also an Emergency Medical Technician, holds multiple Instructor and Instructor Trainer authorizations with the American Red Cross, the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons' Emergency Care Institute, and the American Safety and Health Institute.

Helping educate pool and beach managers about the risks inherent in aquatic recreation with the ultimate goal of reducing the drowning rate is one of the primary goals of DeRosa Aquatic Consulting.
